Using 4ward Drive

These terms apply to your use of 4ward Drive, an automotive community for public discussions, posts, comments and related features. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the Community rules. Our Privacy notice explains how information is handled.

You can read public discussions without an account. To participate, use an email address you control, verify access to it and choose an available username. You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep sign-in codes private and let us know if you believe someone else has gained access.

Your content and permissions

You retain the rights you hold in your original contributions. By submitting content, you give 4ward Drive permission to store, process and display it as needed to operate the service, including presenting it in feeds, sharing previews and source-linked community summaries.

Only upload or share material you have the right to use. Respect copyright, privacy and other people’s rights. Do not post confidential information, someone else’s personal details or material you are not authorised to disclose.

You can edit or delete your contributions. Deletion stops their public display in the active app, subject to conversation placeholders and the handling described in the Privacy notice. We cannot recall copies already shared by other people or stored by independent services.

Participation and commercial interests

Follow the site rules and any additional rules of the community where you contribute. Do not manipulate votes, spam, impersonate others, evade restrictions or interfere with the service’s security or availability.

If you have a commercial relationship relevant to a recommendation, review or link, make it clear. Do not present advertising, affiliate promotion or a business interest as an independent owner experience.

Automotive advice, AI and external links

Posts and comments express their authors’ views and experiences. A high vote score is not verification. Vehicle details can differ by model year, market, trim and condition, so check information against the source that applies to your vehicle.

AI summaries organise member discussions. They can omit context or make mistakes and are not an independent inspection, diagnosis or professional recommendation. Read the linked comments and seek qualified advice for repairs, safety, legal or financial decisions.

Links and previews do not mean we endorse a website, product, seller or service. External sites have their own terms. A community named after a vehicle brand does not imply affiliation with that manufacturer.

Moderation and account restrictions

Community moderators can review reports, remove contributions, lock discussions and restrict participation within their communities. Platform administration may also act to address abuse, security issues or violations of these terms.

Use Report in a post or comment’s options menu to flag a concern. To question a moderation decision or raise an issue you cannot report in the app, reply to a 4ward Drive sign-in email with the page link, your username and the context you want reviewed.

Availability, changes and your rights

Features may change, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or other operational reasons. Keep your own copy of anything you need to retain. You can stop using the service and request account deletion through Settings.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any applicable rights under Australian consumer law.
